There are approximately 2,700 independent schools located in the United States, with over 35 in the St. Louis metropolitan area. These schools serve over 700,000 students from pre-kindergarten through high school with a wide diversity of educational programs.
Independent schools are “independent,” because they all have distinct missions and are funded through tuition, charitable contributions, etc. revenue to varying degrees depending upon the size and age of the institution.
The National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC Accredited) is dedicated to improving the well-being of all young children, with particular focus on the quality of educational and developmental services for all children from birth through age 8.
